Abstract:

This talk presents Insertion Devices (IDs) used in Synchrotron Radiation facilities as sources and highlights the past and present activities that take place at the ID lab at MAX IV Laboratory.

Current R&D work revolves around the development of a compact “table top” Apple-X ID and the Pulsed Wire (PW) magnetic measurement system for its tuning and characterization.
